Overview The Embassy Energy Ops & Maintenance position is crucial to ensuring the efficient and reliable operation of Embassy energy systems. This role plays a key part in overseeing the day-to-day operations and maintenance activities to uphold the functionality and sustainability of energy systems within the Embassy.Key Responsibilities
  • Manage and coordinate the operational activities of energy systems
  • Conduct routine maintenance to ensure optimal performance of energy equipment
  • Respond to and resolve technical issues and failures in a timely manner
  • Implement energy conservation initiatives to optimize consumption
  • Oversee compliance with all regulatory and safety standards
  • Develop and update standard operating procedures for maintenance tasks
  • Perform regular inspections and assessments of energy infrastructure
  • Lead and supervise a team of maintenance technicians and operators
  • Collaborate with external contractors for specialized maintenance or repairs
  • Ensure documentation of maintenance activities and equipment records
  • Participate in planning and executing energy efficiency projects
  • Monitor energy consumption and identify opportunities for improvement
  • Conduct training sessions for maintenance staff on new procedures or equipment
  • Participate in emergency response and recovery efforts as needed
  • Stay abreast of industry advancements and best practices in energy operations
Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Energy Management, or related field
  • Minimum of 5 years' experience in operations and maintenance of energy systems
  • Strong knowledge of energy system components and technologies
  • Proven experience in technical troubleshooting and problem-solving
  • Proficiency in regulatory requirements and compliance for energy operations
  • Demonstrated leadership and team management skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
  • Ability to work effectively under pressure and in emergency situations
  • Certification in energy management or maintenance preferred
  • Familiarity with energy management software and systems
  • Understanding of sustainable and eco-friendly energy practices
  • Attention to detail and strong organizational skills
  • Ability to adapt to new technologies and industry developments
  • Physical ability to perform maintenance tasks and inspections
  • Sound decision-making and analytical skills
