Position Overview
We are hiring a dynamic and experienced
Relationship Manager
for our Financial Platform Company. The ideal candidate will have strong mutual fund industry knowledge, excellent relationship skills, and the ability to manage portfolios and lead teams when required.
Key Responsibilities
Client Relationship Management
- Build and maintain strong relationships with existing clients, mutual fund distributors, and partners.
- Understand client requirements and recommend suitable mutual fund and financial products.
- Ensure high levels of client satisfaction through regular communication and support.
Business Development & Targets
- Generate business from existing and new clients through upselling, cross-selling, and referrals.
- Identify new business opportunities and expand the client/partner network.
- Achieve monthly and quarterly business targets set by the company.
- Work towards continuous growth in AUM (Assets Under Management).
Portfolio & Advisory Support
- Guide clients in monitoring and managing their mutual fund portfolios.
- Conduct periodic portfolio reviews and suggest rebalancing when required.
- Ensure all advisory interactions follow compliance and suitability standards.
Managerial & Team Responsibilities
- Lead and support junior team members when required.
- Assist in allocating tasks, monitoring performance, and ensuring smooth operations.
- Exhibit strong managerial qualities and take ownership of team-related responsibilities.
Operations & Coordination
- Maintain accurate client records, reports, and CRM updates.
- Coordinate with internal departments for onboarding, compliance, and service delivery.
- Ensure timely documentation and resolution of client issues.
Key Skills Required
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
- Strong understanding of mutual fund products and financial markets.
- Ability to discuss and guide on portfolio management.
- Leadership and team management capabilities.
- Target-driven, proactive, and client-focused.
- Good command over MS Office, CRM, and digital financial tools.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Commerce, Business Administration, or related field.
- 3–5 years of experience in Mutual Funds, Financial Advisory, AMCs, or Financial Platform Companies.
