Position Summary

The Cook/Chef is responsible for preparing, cooking, and presenting high-quality dishes in a timely and efficient manner. This role requires strong culinary skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively as part of a team in a fast-paced kitchen environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and cook menu items according to recipes, quality standards, and presentation guidelines.
  • Ensure all food is prepared in a timely manner and meets company and safety standards.
  • Assist in menu planning, recipe development, and daily specials.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe kitchen environment in compliance with health and safety regulations.
  • Monitor inventory levels, assist with ordering, and minimize food waste.
  • Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure smooth kitchen operations during service.
  • Receive, inspect, and properly store food and ingredients.
  • Follow portion control guidelines to maintain consistency and cost efficiency.
  • Support training and development of junior kitchen staff as needed.
