We are seeking a skilled Network Automation Engineer,688 to design, develop, and maintain advanced
network automation tools, self-service applications, and operational dashboards
for Network Services. The role combines
hands-on development
with
technical leadership
, working across GoLang, Python, React, OpenShift, and modern DevOps practices.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, build, and maintain automation tools, self-service solutions, and network dashboards using GoLang, Python, React, and modern frontend technologies.
  • Lead technical initiatives from requirement gathering through deployment, supporting architecture design, agile practices, and technical decision-making.
  • Develop and deploy containerized applications on OpenShift/Kubernetes, implementing CI/CD pipelines, GitOps workflows, and DevOps best practices.
  • Build and integrate RESTful APIs, microservices, and automation components used by network operations teams.
  • Migrate legacy Perl applications to modern technology stacks while ensuring system stability and performance.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate business requirements into scalable technical solutions.
  • Troubleshoot complex issues, optimize performance, and drive continuous improvements.
  • Conduct code reviews, ensure code quality and security compliance, and mentor team members in best practices.
  • Work in Linux/Unix environments to develop and support applications across the lifecycle.

Required Skills

  • Strong hands-on experience in GoLang, Python, and React (minimum 3 years each).
  • Experience with OpenShift, CI/CD, SQL, API development, and full-stack engineering.
  • Proven ability to build automation solutions, ideally in the network domain.
  • Strong knowledge of modern frontend development (React, JavaScript, CSS).
  • Ability to lead technical initiatives and coordinate development efforts.
  • Excellent troubleshooting, analytical, and communication skills.

Preferred Skills

  • Linux, DevOps, Docker, Tekton, GitOps (ArgoCD).
  • Cloud experience (GCP or Azure).
  • Experience using tools such as SonarQube and GitHub Copilot.
  • Understanding of networking concepts (TCP/IP, Cisco devices, Observability, AIOps).
  • CCNA certification or prior experience with network infrastructure operations.

Experience

  • 4–5+ years overall software development experience.
  • Minimum 3+ years hands-on in GoLang, Python, React.
  • Experience in automation development and containerized deployments.
  • Familiarity with CI/CD and cloud-native environments.

Education

  • Bachelor's Degree (preferred) or equivalent education (Diploma/Associate).
