Job Summary:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced
Legal Manager
to oversee the legal aspects of our business operations. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring legal compliance, handling litigation, managing contracts, and supporting corporate governance. The role requires strong analytical skills, leadership capabilities, and a deep understanding of corporate and commercial law.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide legal support and guidance on company operations and business strategies.
  • Draft, review, and negotiate a wide range of commercial contracts (e.g., vendor agreements, client contracts, NDAs, MOUs, etc.).
  • Ensure the company complies with all applicable laws, regulations, and industry standards.
  • Advise on labour laws, intellectual property rights, and regulatory requirements.
  • Support due diligence and legal review for M&A, joint ventures, or other corporate transactions.
  • Assist in internal investigations and compliance-related issues.
  • Maintain and update legal documentation, templates, and risk registers.
  • Conduct legal training and awareness programs for internal stakeholders.
  • Monitor changes in laws and regulations affecting the company and take proactive steps.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Law (LL.B.); Master's degree (LL.M.) preferred.
  • Must be licensed to practice law.
  • 10-12 Years of relevant Experience.
  • Strong understanding of corporate, commercial, and labour law.
  • Experience handling regulatory compliance and litigation.
  • Excellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks under pressure.
  • Proficiency in legal research and use of legal databases.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in a corporate or law firm.
  • Knowledge of data privacy laws, environmental regulations, or industry-specific legislation.
  • Familiarity with contract lifecycle management.
