This role combines hands-on design expertise with strategic thinking — ideal for someone who can transform business challenges into design-led opportunities that drive user engagement and measurable impact. You'll lead multi-disciplinary design initiatives, collaborate closely with clients and internal teams, and shape the creative direction that defines our brand and project success. As a key creative leader, you'll mentor designers, ensure design excellence across projects, and cultivate a culture of innovation, empathy, and continuous learning. Your strategic vision will influence how ideas evolve from concept to implementation, ensuring every design decision adds value for both users and stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities Strategic Design Leadership Define and execute the creative strategy for projects, aligning design outcomes with business objectives and user needs. Partner with clients and internal stakeholders to identify opportunities where design can drive innovation and differentiation. Lead workshops, discovery sessions, and co-creation exercises to shape problem statements and creative direction. Creative Direction & Execution Oversee end-to-end design processes — from research and ideation to prototyping and final delivery. Ensure that all design deliverables meet brand, usability, and accessibility standards. Translate complex ideas into intuitive, visually engaging user experiences across digital platforms. Team Development & Mentorship Provide feedback, mentorship, and structured growth opportunities for designers across varying experience levels. Foster a culture of curiosity, collaboration, and excellence through regular design critiques and learning sessions. Encourage experimentation and innovation, empowering teams to push creative boundaries responsibly. Collaboration & Cross-Functional Partnership Collaborate with product managers, engineers, and marketing teams to ensure design feasibility and consistency across touchpoints. Participate in client presentations, articulating design rationale and business value clearly and persuasively. Work closely with development teams to translate design intent into seamless, functional implementations. Design Systems & Quality Assurance Develop and maintain scalable design systems, ensuring visual and functional consistency across platforms. Review and refine design deliverables to maintain quality, coherence, and brand alignment. Leverage design tools and analytics to measure performance and optimize user experience.
What Makes You a Great Fit 6+ years of experience in digital design, with 2+ years leading design teams or projects. Strong portfolio demonstrating expertise in UI/UX design, interaction design, and visual storytelling. Deep understanding of user-centered design, accessibility principles, and prototyping tools (e.g., Figma, Adobe XD, Sketch). Proven ability to balance creative vision with executional rigor, delivering high-quality outputs under dynamic conditions. Excellent communicator and presenter with experience leading client-facing engagements. Passion for mentoring, fostering collaboration, and driving a culture of continuous improvement. Familiarity with Agile environments and an understanding of how design integrates into iterative product cycles.
