Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Safety Officer based in Ratnagiri. The Safety Officer will be responsible for implementing and monitoring health and safety policies to ensure a safe working environment. Day-to-day responsibilities will include conducting safety inspections, ensuring compliance with safety standards, investigating workplace incidents, delivering safety training sessions, and promoting a culture of safety among team members. The role requires collaboration with employees at all levels to minimize risks and prevent accidents.

Qualifications

  • Proficiency in Health & Safety and Occupational Health to ensure workplace safety and compliance with regulations
  • Experience with Accident Investigation to analyze incidents and recommend corrective actions
  • Skills in conducting Safety Training sessions to educate employees on best practices and regulatory requirements
  • Knowledge of Security protocols to maintain a secure and safe work environment
  • Strong communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work collaboratively
  • Relevant certifications in occupational safety, such as NEBOSH, OSHA, or similar qualifications
  • Prior experience in a construction or industrial environment is an advantage
