PRIMARY AND MANDATORY TASKS

A.     Production Planning

  • Create weekly and daily production plan and schedule
  • Review and adjust the schedule where needed
  • Determine the human and material resources required
  • Manage human resources to meet production targets
  • Plan material production to meet production targets
  • Ensures adequate associates are available to meet the production demand. Decide when contract labour need to be hired
  • Organising the repair and routine maintenance of production equipment
  • Issuing daily work slips to the subordinates and associates

B. Ensuring Quality Standards

  • Ensure that final product meets quality standards and customer specifications
  • Identify and implement continuous improvements to the Company's production processes
  • Collaborate with Quality Department to identify and implement ongoing quality improvements

C.     Ensure the target productivity level is achieved on a daily basis

D.     Maintain knowledge and technical expertise of current production best practices tools and techniques

E.     Minimize overall production costs while maximizing productivity.

F.     Observing the safety requirements

G.    Create storage plans for finished goods

H.     Supervising and Training

  • Provide job training to workers to meet production goals.
  • Lead, develop and mentor the Production team
  • Monitor the completion of tasks and ensure good performance and record on appropriate systems
  • Periodically supervising container stuffing and loading

SECONDARY AND SUPPORTING TASKS

A. Documentation and Report

  • Documenting current production procedures and create company standards to improve the efficiency of the Production Department
  • Create and maintain accurate and current documentation of tool drawings, design concepts and orders, in accordance with the Product Development and Quality Assurance functions
  • Manage and review all operational product and process documentation and ERP system information changes (including bills of materials, product routings and design change requests)
  • Updating work orders in ERP
  • Making Internal Reports as assigned by General Manager
