Description

1. Technical Leadership & Architecture:

Own the end-to-end technical design and architecture for key platforms (e.g., ILM & RCS, Claims, Investigation).

Ensure all developed solutions are scalable, secure, and fully aligned with defined enterprise standards.

Establish, maintain, and enforce coding standards, best practices, and CI/CD pipelines.

1. Project Planning & Execution:

Collaborate with senior leadership and business stakeholders to clearly define project scope, timelines, and technical deliverables. Drive essential agile processes, including sprint planning, backlog grooming, and milestone tracking for the team.

1. Team Management & Mentoring: Lead and actively mentor developers, fostering a strong culture of continuous learning and collaboration within the team. Proactively identify existing skill gaps and facilitate necessary training or upskilling initiatives for team members. Conduct and oversee robust code reviews to guarantee maintainability, high performance, and adherence to quality standards.

1. Platform Stability & Operations: Maintain continuous monitoring of system health, platform performance, and uptime metrics. Lead and coordinate effective Root Cause Analysis (RCA) and resolution efforts for all critical production issues. Collaborate with the Cloud Infrastructure team on technical implementation for optimization and scaling initiatives.

1. Governance and Compliance: Ensure all technical implementations strictly adhere to regulatory requirements and data protection standards. Collaborate with InfoSec and Compliance teams to support formal audits and assessments. Oversee the secure integration of third-party tools and platforms, evaluating vendor solutions for seamless interoperability.

1. Documentation & Knowledge Management: Maintain comprehensive technical documentation for all systems, processes, and design decisions. Promote and facilitate knowledge sharing sessions across relevant IT and business teams.

7. Architectural Governance and Strategy:

Defining and maintaining the technical architecture for platforms like ILM and RCS is a critical responsibility. It involves evaluating new technologies, ensuring compliance with enterprise architecture standards, and guiding teams through architectural transitions. Without dedicated support, this becomes a bottleneck in innovation and long-term planning.

1. SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE

• (Experience with data architecture and database design in relational databases.
• Knowledge of enterprise integration patterns and technologies (e.g. REST, SOAP).
• Previous experience in leading or managing technical teams.
• Strong experience with Spring Boot and microservices architecture.
• Strong experience in Java and Restful Api
• Api testing
• Basic understanding of AWS services (EC2, S3, RDS, Docker etc.) and experience deploying applications on AWS
• Familiarity with DevOps practices and tools for continuous integration and continuous deployment

Skills Required

Education/Qualification

Bachelor's degree in science, Engineering and related disciplines.
