About the Role

We are seeking a talented and creative Videographer to join our corporate communications team and assist in managing and developing content for Shahis digital media channels. You will collaborate closely with inter-departmental teams to create compelling video content that

aligns with Shahis brand identity and engages our target audience. This role will provide valuable exposure to various aspects of video production, including shooting, editing, and optimizing content for online platforms. This is an excellent opportunity for an aspiring video

producer to gain hands-on experience in a professional setting and contribute to our online presence.

Responsibilities

  • Assist in planning, shooting, and editing video content for our internal and external communications initiatives and various platforms.
  • Collaborate with the team to develop video concepts and storyboards that align with our brand and marketing goals.
  • Operate cameras, lighting equipment, and audio recording devices during video shoots, ensuring high-quality footage and audio.
  • Edit raw video footage using industry-standard editing software to create engaging and visually appealing videos.
  • Deliver polished videos on tight schedules.
  • Incorporate graphics, effects, and animations to enhance video content when necessary.
  • Keep up-to-date with the latest trends and techniques in video production.
  • Experiment with new formats, edits, and storytelling techniques to push the creative boundaries.
  • Support event and visit coverage through high-quality videography and photography,including short event recap videos, interview snippets, and photo documentation.
  • Assist with other video-related tasks and projects as assigned by the supervisor.

Preferred Skills and Experience

  • Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Film Production, Media Studies, Journalism, Mass Communications, or a related field.
  • Demonstrates a passion for video production and a strong interest in online content creation.
  • Proficiency in video editing software (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or similar).
  • Familiarity with camera equipment, lighting techniques, and audio recording.
  • Basic knowledge of motion graphics and visual effects is a plus.
  • Excellent attention to detail and a good eye for storytelling through videos..
  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills to handle multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team.
  • Familiarity with the YouTube algorithm is a plus.
  • Ability to collect and synthesize information to build compelling video concepts.
  • Basic understanding of optimizing AI tools for animation, voice-overs, etc.
  • Sound design and audio mastery.
