We are looking for a skilled and creative Content Writer with a background in journalism and proven experience creating engaging content for social media platforms. The ideal candidate will excel at storytelling, understand how to tailor content to various audiences, and thrive in a fast-paced digital environment. You will play a key role in enhancing our brand presence across social channels while maintaining editorial standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Create compelling, accurate, and timely content for social media platforms including Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, Twitter/X, and TikTok.
• Apply journalistic principles to research and write posts, captions, and articles that are informative, engaging, and aligned with current events or trends.
• Collaborate with the marketing, design, and communications teams to develop content strategies and campaigns.
• Adapt tone, style, and messaging to suit various platforms and target audiences.
• Monitor social media performance and use insights to optimize content and increase engagement.
• Stay current with industry trends, social media best practices, and digital journalism standards.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Journalism, Communications, Marketing, or a related field.
• Proven experience in content writing, particularly for social media.
• Strong journalistic skills, including researching, interviewing, and fact-checking.
• Excellent command of written English and editorial judgment.
• Familiarity with social media tools and analytics (e.g., Meta Business Suite, Hootsuite, Buffer).
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects with tight deadlines.

Preferred Skills:

• Basic knowledge of graphic design or video editing tools (e.g., Canva, Adobe Premiere, CapCut).
• Experience with content scheduling and community engagement.
• Portfolio of social media content and/or published journalism pieces.
