Our Client is a leading MNC Manufacturing company in field of screening & auxilary solutions for Petrochemicals, Food, beverages & Chemicals companies. Company has more then 200 employees & having their plant at Sanad GIDC, Ahmedabad. They are looking for staff for below mentioned position.

JOB SUMMARY: 

The primary objective of the Sales Manager – Water Well Screens is to be part of the Global Product Line, design and implement a strategic sales plan that expands the company's customer base, and ensure a strong presence in India, Bangladesh, and Nepal. The Country Head must maximise the potential of the internal sales team and adopt a competitive and innovative approach for new product development.

The role will work closely with the WWS Technical Solutions Lead to identify, develop, and execute strategic initiatives that drive sustainable growth. This includes aligning technical and commercial strategies, leveraging technical expertise to unlock new market opportunities, and ensuring alignment with global WWS objectives.

Position: Sales Manager - Water Well Screens

Location: GIDC Sanand, Ahmedabad.

Timing: 9:00 AM to 6:30 PM ( 5 Days Week)

Experience : 10-15 years' experience as a sales representative or sales manager in customised engineering products, consistently meeting or exceeding targets

Salary: 25-28 LPA + benefits

ACCOUNTABILITIES

  • Be part of the Global Sales team and ensure the company's long-term plans are achieved.
  • Work closely with the WWS Technical Solutions Lead to identify and develop strategic initiatives that will deliver growth in target markets.
  • Manage WWS business activities across India, Bangladesh, and Nepal, ensuring market coverage, revenue growth, and strategic customer engagement.
  • Determine annual booking, volume, and gross profit targets for existing and new products/markets.
  • Build and promote strong, long-lasting customer relationships by collaborating with them and understanding their needs.
  • Implement suitable marketing strategies to achieve forecasted bookings, volume, and gross profit, analysing trends and results.
  • Identify emerging markets and market shifts while being fully aware of new products and competitive activity.
  • Set and monitor volume, gross profit, and expense budgets.
  • Present booking, volume, gross profit, and expense reports and realistic forecasts to the management team.
  • Determine human resource requirements, select, orient, and train employees.
  • Ensure that standard operating procedures are adhered to.
  • Ensure implementation and adherence to health and safety procedures.
  • Monitor and review the performance of staff and organise necessary interventions for improvement.
  • Liaise with different departments, including Procurement, Production, Engineering, Quality, and Management.
  • Implement and sustain the ISO system within the Water Well Screens Sales Team.

Travel

  • The job involves extensive travel within India, Bangladesh, and Nepal, and sometimes overseas.

  • Must be willing to lend experience and skills to colleagues and Company employees at other sites and in different regions as required
  • Must be available for after-hours work, appointments, meetings, and functions

QUALIFICATIONS

Essential

  • Engineering degree
  • 10-15 years' experience as a sales representative or sales manager in customised engineering products, consistently meeting or exceeding targets
  • Ability to communicate effectively in English

Preferred

  • Experience in equipment related to groundwater
  • Experience in Salesforce.
