Job Title: Sr. QA Automation Engineer

Employment Type: Full-time

Requirements

• 6+ years of QA and Test Automation experience
• Expertise in test automation frameworks like Selenium, Cypress, Playwright, Appium,

Rest Assured, etc.

• Hands-on with at least one programming language (Java, Python, JavaScript, etc.).
• Strong experience with API Testing and tools like Postman, Swagger, and Rest

Assured.

• Good understanding of Agile, DevOps, and Shift-Left Testing.
• Exposure on cloud enviornments like AWS or Azure & database (SQL, No SQL).
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with deep knowledge of SDLC and STLC.
• Ability to communicate effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
• Mentor junior team members.
• Good to have knwoledge on Gen AI.

Job responsibilities

Develop and execute automated test cases for web, mobile, and API applications.

Design, build, and maintain automation frameworks using Selenium, Cypress, Playwright, Appium, and Rest Assured.

Write and optimize test automation scripts using Java.

Perform comprehensive API testing using Postman, Swagger, and Rest Assured.

Collaborate in Agile teams and contribute to DevOps practices with a strong focus on shift-left testing.

Conduct testing on cloud environments such as AWS or Azure.

Perform data validation and write queries for SQL and NoSQL databases.

Ensure adherence to QA processes, SDLC, and STLC best practices.

Identify defects, conduct root-cause analysis, and work with developers for resolution.

Prepare clear documentation for test plans, test results, automation scripts, and defects.

Communicate test progress, risks, and impacts effectively to stakeholders.

Mentor junior QA team members and support their skill development.

Stay updated with new testing tools and technologies, including Generative AI applications in QA.

Demonstrate strong ownership, collaboration, and effective verbal/written communication skills.
