About the Role:

The candidate will be responsible for managing fixed assets accounting, ensuring accurate

records to support financial reporting and compliance. Additionally, the role will involve Record

to Report (R2R) processes and a strong understanding of General Ledger (GL) accounting.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Fixed Assets Accounting:

  2. Manage the fixed assets ledger, including additions, disposals, and depreciation.

  3. Ensure accurate and timely capitalization of fixed assets.

  4. Conduct periodic physical inventories of fixed assets.

  5. Reconcile fixed asset accounts and resolve discrepancies.

  6. Record to Report (R2R):

  7. Participate in the month-end and year-end closing processes.

  8. Prepare and review journal entries related to fixed assets.

  9. Assist in the preparation of financial statements and reports.

  10. Ensure compliance with relevant accounting standards and policies.

  11. General Ledger (GL) Accounting:

  12. Maintain a thorough understanding of the GL structure.

  13. Reconcile GL accounts and ensure accuracy.

  14. Assist in the development and implementation of GL accounting policies and procedures.

  15. Support audits by providing necessary documentation and explanations.

Qualifications:


• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.


• Professional accounting qualification (e.g., CPA, ACCA) is preferred.


• Proven experience in fixed assets accounting.


• Strong understanding of R2R processes and GL accounting.


• Proficiency in accounting software and MS Excel.


• Knowledge of ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) is an advantage.
