Role Overview

As a Sales / Business Development Manager, you will be responsible for driving new client acquisition and expanding existing accounts. You'll identify business opportunities, build lasting client relationships, and position our recruitment solutions to help organizations meet their talent needs.

This role is ideal for someone who understands the recruitment lifecycle, has strong communication skills, and thrives in a performance-driven, relationship-based environment.

Key ResponsibilitiesClient Acquisition & Relationship Management

  • Identify, prospect, and engage potential clients through calls, emails, LinkedIn, and networking.
  • Develop and maintain long-term relationships with key decision-makers (HR Heads, Talent Acquisition Leaders, Hiring Managers).
  • Conduct client meetings to understand hiring needs, workforce challenges, and propose tailored recruitment solutions.
  • Negotiate terms of business and close agreements to maximize revenue and client satisfaction.

Revenue & Growth

  • Meet and exceed monthly/quarterly revenue and client acquisition targets.
  • Develop and execute business plans to achieve sales goals in specific verticals or geographies.
  • Work closely with recruitment delivery teams to ensure seamless fulfillment of client requirements.
  • Identify opportunities for cross-selling or upselling additional staffing services.

Market Intelligence & Strategy

  • Research and analyze market trends, competitors, and potential growth sectors.
  • Contribute to business strategies, pricing models, and client engagement approaches.
  • Attend industry events, networking sessions, and webinars to promote brand visibility.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, HR, or related field.
  • 2–7 years of experience in sales or business development within a recruitment/staffing firm (IT / Non-IT / Engineering / Contract Hiring).
  • Proven track record of achieving or exceeding sales targets.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
  • Strong understanding of recruitment processes and client engagement lifecycle.
  • Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience selling staff augmentation, RPO, nearshoring, or offshore recruitment services.
  • Existing network of HR and hiring decision-makers.
  • Experience using CRM tools (HubSpot, Zoho, Salesforce) and LinkedIn Sales Navigator.
