Job Title: Solar Site Engineer – West Bengal

Company Overview:

We are a growing solar energy solutions provider committed to building sustainable and cost-effective solar power systems across India. Our projects include rooftop, ground-mounted, and commercial solar installations across various regions of West Bengal.

We are now looking for an experienced and dedicated Solar Site Engineer to join our execution team for on-site project management and supervision.

Location:

Based in West Bengal (preferred cities: Medinipur, Durgapur, Asansol, Siliguri, Haldia)

Willingness to travel to project sites across the state as required.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise and execute solar installation projects (rooftop & ground-mounted).
  • Plan daily work schedules, manpower deployment, and site material management.
  • Coordinate with EPC / Design / Procurement teams for smooth project execution.
  • Oversee installation of solar modules, inverters, structures, earthing, and cabling.
  • Conduct inspection, testing, and commissioning of solar PV systems.
  • Ensure site safety compliance and adherence to technical standards.
  • Prepare site reports, daily progress logs, and project handover documentation.
  • Liaise with clients, contractors, and local authorities when required.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Education: Diploma / B.Tech / BE in Electrical, Mechanical, or Electronics Engineering.
  • Experience: 1–5 years of experience in solar project execution (EPC or O&M preferred).
  • Technical Skills:
  • Knowledge of solar PV installation and commissioning.
  • Understanding of electrical drawings and single-line diagrams.
  • Familiarity with solar inverters, panels, mounting structures, and balance of systems.
  • Basic knowledge of MS Office and AutoCAD preferred.
  • Other Requirements:
  • Willingness to travel and work at project sites.
  • Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
  • Team-oriented and safety-conscious.

Compensation & Benefits:

Salary: ₹15,000 – ₹20,000 per month (based on experience)
