Core Responsibilities

• Out Patient & In-Patient services.
• Provide Urology consultation to patients and review their histories.
• Treat urologic disorders using alternatives to traditional surgery such as extracorporeal shock wave lithotripsy, laparoscopy and laser techniques.
• Treat lower urinary tract dysfunctions using different equipment such as diathermy machines, catheters, cystoscopies and radium emanation tubes
• To ensure that all the patients are receiving appropriate Medical care.
• Conduct routine check-up appointments and maintain follow-ups throughout patients care.
• To keep up-breast with the latest technology and innovations in the respective field.
• Perform abdominal, pelvic or retroperitoneal surgeries.
• Diagnose or treat diseases or disorders of genitourinary organs and tracts including erectile dysfunction(ED), infertility, incontinence, bladder cancer, prostate cancer, urethral stones, or premature ejaculation.
• Develops and documents an initial plan of care, modifies daily plan of care, and writes daily progress notes.
• Follows Hospital policies at all times and seeks and provides inputs, as and when required.
• To participate in review & planning activities relevant to the departmental services at the hospital.
• Actively participate in presentations of CMEs and Journal clubs.
• Supervise direct patient care of mid-levels and other team members involved in the diagnosis and treatment.

Patients according to quality standards (NABH).

• Manage and maintain all Urology patients database and developing best practical protocol for patients benefits
• Teaching and supervising junior doctors and medical students;
