Join the Pure Solutions team as a Senior Solutions Engineer in Virtualization, shaping the future of enterprise and hybrid cloud infrastructure for our global customers and partners. You will be a key driver in designing, building, and integrating cutting-edge solutions spanning virtualization, containerization, and public cloud (AWS/Azure) with Pure Storage's innovative products. This highly visible, cross-functional role requires a creative infrastructure expert who can independently own and deliver impactful, outcome-driven architectures.

• Architect and Implement Hybrid Cloud Infrastructure: Lead the design, configuration, and maintenance of our core on-premise infrastructure, including Cisco UCS servers, Fabric Interconnects, and key virtualization platforms (VMware vSphere/vCenter, Nutanix AHV/Prism), ensuring high availability and performance.

• Drive Containerization Strategy and Management: Take ownership of the full lifecycle of Kubernetes clusters in both on-premise and public cloud environments (e.g., EKS, AKS), including deployment, scaling, upgrades, and application management using tools like Helm and YAML manifests.

• Develop and Automate Infrastructure Workflows: Increase operational efficiency by leveraging scripting (Python, PowerShell, Bash) and REST APIs to automate essential infrastructure tasks, such as server deployment, patching, configuration management, and system integrations.

• Optimize and Integrate Public Cloud Services: Ensure seamless and cost-effective operation of hybrid cloud environments by integrating on-premise platforms with AWS or Azure core services (compute, storage, networking) and contributing to workload migration and cost optimization efforts.

• Ensure Operational Excellence and Reliability: Monitor and troubleshoot complex performance, availability, and capacity issues across all infrastructure components, serving as a senior technical resource who collaborates with Security, DevOps, and Application teams to deliver reliable services.

• Expert Infrastructure and Virtualization Proficiency: Deep, hands-on expertise with mainstream server technologies, network interconnects, and expert-level proficiency in VMware vSphere/vCenter, Nutanix AHV/Prism, or Hyper-V.

• Advanced Kubernetes and Container Management: Proven, practical experience deploying, managing, and troubleshooting production Kubernetes clusters, with solid command of container runtimes (Docker/containerd) and application deployment methods (Helm charts).

• Cloud and Hybrid Architecture Acumen: Strong knowledge of core services and architecture in at least one major public cloud (AWS: EC2, S3, VPC or Azure: VMs, Storage Accounts, VNets), and demonstrated ability to design and support hybrid cloud solutions.

• Automation and API Integration Mastery: Relevant experience using REST APIs for system integration and strong proficiency in at least one modern scripting language (Python, PowerShell, or Bash) to automate complex workflows.

• Robust Networking and IT Fundamentals: Solid understanding of advanced virtual networking concepts (VLANs, DVS) and core networking protocols (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPN), along with familiarity with Identity and Access Management concepts (Active Directory, SSO, MFA).

• We are primarily an in-office environment and therefore, you will be expected to work from the Bangalore office in compliance with Pure's policies, unless you are on PTO, or work travel, or other approved leave.
