About job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled Site Engineer to oversee construction activities in Chennai. This role involves ensuring adherence to design specifications, coordinating with stakeholders, and preparing progress reports. The Site Engineer will play a crucial role in resolving technical issues and maintaining site documentation, contributing to the successful completion of construction projects.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise and monitor construction activities at the site.
- Ensure compliance with design specifications and safety standards.
- Coordinate with contractors, suppliers, and project managers.
- Prepare daily progress reports and maintain site documentation.
- Resolve technical issues and provide on-site solutions.
- Manage and oversee the quality of construction materials and workmanship.
- Maintain detailed records of site activities and inspections.
Qualifications / Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering (B.E or B.Tech).
- 1-2 years of experience in construction or related field.
- Strong understanding of civil engineering principles.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints.
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
- Familiarity with construction materials and quality standards.
Preferred Skills / Attributes:
- Proficiency in AutoCAD or similar design software.
- Knowledge of construction project management software.
- Experience with site surveying and measurement techniques.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
