Role Description

senior designer
with a strong foundation in
textile design
to lead our luxury Indo-Western collections. We are seeking a

This role is crucial for integrating high-end Western construction with sophisticated Indian textiles and sustainable practices. The candidate must have hands-on experience in
luxury
Indo-Western garment design
and an expert-level understanding of
natural dyes and their implementation
on premium, natural fabrics.

Key Requirements & Expertise

A. Indo-Western Design & Construction

  • Design Expertise:
    Proven experience in designing refined
    Indo-Western garments
  • Western Fit Mastery:
    Mandatory ability to apply advanced
    Western tailoring and pattern-making techniques
    to fusion silhouettes to ensure impeccable fit, structure, and finishing.

B. Textile & Sustainable Process Expertise

  • Educational Background:
    Strong preference for candidates with a degree/diploma or extensive coursework in
    Textile Design
    or equivalent specialized experience.
  • Natural Dyes Implementation:
    Deep, practical knowledge of
    natural dyes
    and the processes for successful, high-quality implementation on various
    natural fibers
    (cotton, linen, silk).
  • Textile Development:
    Expertise in selecting, treating, and developing unique textures and materials, collaborating directly with weavers and artisans.

Qualifications

  • In-depth knowledge and proficiency in Textile Design, including Textile Prints and innovative fabric development
  • Proven expertise in Embroidery and creating intricate design details
  • Strong skills in Graphics, Graphic Design, and visual storytelling
  • Passion for sustainability and eco-friendly practices in luxury fashion
  • Proficiency in design software and tools relevant to textiles and graphic design
  • Strong portfolio demonstrating creative and technical skills in fashion and textiles
  • Bachelor's degree in Fashion Design, Textile Design, or related field
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines
