Role Description

This is a full-time, remote role for a Back-End Developer. In this position, you will be responsible for designing and developing system architectures, building reliable and scalable APIs, managing server-side infrastructure, and implementing software solutions. You will work closely with front-end developers, refine system integrations, and help optimize overall performance.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop RESTful APIs using and/or Python (FastAPI/Flask)
  • Implement JWT and OAuth2 authentication mechanisms
  • Build WebSocket-based real-time features Design and optimize
  • SQL/NoSQL database schemas
  • Test APIs using Postman, Jest, Supertest, or Python testing frameworks
  • Deploy serverless backends using AWS Lambda or Azure Functions
  • Apply system design concepts: statelessness, caching, scalability
  • Integrate ML APIs and basic RAG workflows
  • Collaborate with front-end and DevOps teams

Core Skills

  • Strong understanding of OOP principles
  • Proficiency in , Python, or Java
  • REST API standards, versioning, pagination, error handling
  • JWT & OAuth2 authentication flows
  • SQL & NoSQL databases
  • WebSocket real-time systems
  • Cloud basics (AWS Lambda, DynamoDB, S3 bucket Azure Functions, CosmosDB, App Insights)
  • Agile development practices

Qualifications:

  • 12 months to 24 months of commercial experience in backend software development.
  • Graduates from 2023, 2024 preferred.
  • 2025 graduates may be considered for a Trainee role with strong backend exposure.
  • 2025 graduates will undergo a 6-month training program with a ₹10,000/month stipend before being confirmed as Backend Developers.
  • ₹3–6 Lakhs per annum, based on experience & performance
  • Good understanding of front-end basics for collaboration
  • Strong problem-solving and communication skills
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field preferred
  • Must provide your own laptop and reliable high-speed internet connection
