Job Description:

Our client is a well established business conglomerate that is evolving with the times to meet aspirations of the modern customers. One of their online business is growing rapidly to become a household name in South India.

Presently, they seek to hire a Senior General Manager to head their B2C business vertical. The role can be based in Hyderabad / Bengaluru / Chennai.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and implement business strategies, plans and procedures for South India and later on for PAN India.
  • Set comprehensive goals for scaling up of the business.
  • Overseeing the daily business and administrative operations and improving operating procedures for optimal efficiency
  • Identify and communicate strategic and tactical ideas for the growth of the business with all the stakeholders.
  • Closely monitor current trends, competitor benchmarking and conduct relevant analysis.
  • Stay abreast with business updates of peers/ competition, regulations and other macroeconomic developments
  • Strategize and lead the business case for new opportunities/ initiatives
  • Maintain strong company and sector expertise. Stay current on all company business activities to be responsive to Management and to communicate effectively with potential investors.
  • Work strategically with the Management to create fundraising strategies and Capital needs planning
  • Leading and motivating staff to achieve sales and organisational objectives


Desired Profile / Criteria / Skills :

Desired Candidate Profile

  • Masters' degree in Business Management from a reputed Institution. Candidate with Engineering background will be preferred.
  • Min 15 years of experience in Online businesses, progressively leading to the General Management level, responsible for People, Processes and Profits.
  • Demonstrated success in scaling up of a business.
  • Excellent leadership and organisational skills
  • Outstanding written and oral communication skills, fluency in multiple South Indian languages is a distinctive advantage.
