About The Team
A LexisNexis Risk Solutions Company
is an identity verification software company that has developed world leading digital identity verification technology. We've built everything from the ground up and have a broad range of blue-chip customers across banking, telecommunications, government and more.

About The Role
This position performs moderately difficult research, design, and software development assignments within a specific software functional area or product line. The position should have the ability to work on individual pieces of work and solve problems including the design of the program flow of individual pieces of code, effective coding, and unit testing.

Responsibilities

  • Solving real world problems
  • Propose viable technical solutions to Product Management and/or users for validation.
  • Develop highly resilient and scalable applications. Design, write, test, and deploy production-ready code
  • Validate innovative solutions with our customers and continuously delight them
  • Interface with other technical personnel or team members to finalize requirements.
  • Work closely with other development team members to understand complex product requirements and translate them into software designs.
  • Successfully implement development processes, coding best practices, and code reviews.
  • Keep abreast of new technology developments.

Requirements

  • Software/Systems Engineering experience
  • Proficiency with data manipulation languages.
  • Proficiency in development languages including but not limited to: Java/J2EE, Spring Boot/Integration, JavaScript, XML, SQL, in Windows and LINUX operating systems
  • Familiarity of industry best practices: code coverage/reviews, Test-driven development, continuous integration.
  • Knowledge of the Agile methodology and continuous improvement mindset.
  • Knowledge of data storage subsystems (On Premise: Oracle/SQL Server, Cloud data lakes)
  • Ability to complete moderate and complex bug fixes.
  • Excellent oral and written communications skills in fluent English.
  • Experience in Dockers, Kubernetes, Services in Azure, AWS or another cloud platform is desirable but not essential.
