Job Summary:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Accountant to join our finance team. The accountant will be responsible for managing financial transactions, preparing financial statements, and ensuring compliance with accounting principles and regulations.

Key Roles and Responsibilities:

1. Manage day-to-day accounting tasks, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger entries, and bank reconciliations.

2. Prepare and review financial statements, reports, and budgets on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis.

3. Ensure accuracy, completeness, and compliance of financial records and reports in accordance with GAAP and company policies.

4. Assist with the month-end and year-end closing processes, including accruals, adjustments, and reconciliations.

5. Analyze financial data and trends, providing insights and recommendations to management for decision-making and strategic planning.

6. Monitor and manage cash flow, budgets, and forecasts to optimize financial performance and mitigate risks.

7. Collaborate with internal teams, external auditors, and stakeholders to support financial audits, reviews, and compliance requirements.

8. Stay informed about changes in accounting regulations, standards, and best practices, ensuring ongoing compliance and alignment with industry trends.

9. Supervise stock reports & verification.

10. Support special projects, initiatives, and process improvements as assigned by management.

11. Manage the entire export process from booking of the container with Mr. Deepak, making the payments and handling export documentation.

12. Perform other related duties and responsibilities as needed to support the finance department and overall business objectives.

Qualifications:

1. Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA certification preferred.

2. Proven experience in accounting or finance roles.

3. Solid understanding of accounting principles, practices, and standards, with proficiency in financial analysis and reporting.

4. Proficiency in accounting software and ERP systems (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP, Oracle) and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).

5. Strong analytical skills, with the ability to interpret financial data, identify trends, and make recommendations for improvement.

6. Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

7. Detail-oriented with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.

8. Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams and communicate financial information effectively.

9. Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.

Working Conditions:

1. Full-time position, in an office environment.

2. May require occasional overtime.

3. Must be able to adapt to changing priorities and work under pressure.

4. Personal laptop is essential for this role.
