Overview: The IT Project Manager with Scrum Master role is crucial to our organization's success as it involves leading and managing IT projects while utilizing the agile Scrum framework. The individual in this role will be responsible for overseeing the planning, implementation, and tracking of IT projects, ensuring they are completed on time and within budget. Additionally, as a Scrum Master, this role is pivotal in coaching the team on agile practices, driving continuous improvement, and fostering a culture of collaboration and accountability.Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead and manage IT projects from initiation to closure, ensuring successful delivery within scope, schedule, and budget
  • Act as a Scrum Master, facilitating Agile/Scrum ceremonies and ensuring adherence to Scrum principles
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to define project objectives, scope, and deliverables
  • Develop and maintain project plans, schedules, and resource allocation
  • Identify and manage project dependencies and critical path
  • Monitor project progress and communicate with key stakeholders on a regular basis
  • Lead and motivate cross-functional project teams
  • Facilitate problem-solving and conflict resolution within the project team
  • Champion continuous improvement and Agile best practices
  • Ensure effective communication within the project team and with stakeholders
  • Manage project risks and issues, taking proactive measures to mitigate them
  • Conduct post-project evaluation and identify opportunities for improvement
  • Provide leadership and mentorship to team members
  • Stay abreast of the latest project management and Agile trends and best practices
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures
Required Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field
  • Certified Scrum Master (CSM) or equivalent certification
  • Proven experience managing complex IT projects in an Agile/Scrum environment
  • Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional project teams
  • Strong understanding of project management principles and practices
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to coach, mentor, and motivate team members
  • Proficiency in project management tools and software
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
  • Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks and projects effectively
  • Strategic thinking and decision-making skills
  • Solid organizational and time management skills
