As a Developer Senior Specialist in the Google Operations Center team, you'll be a key player in designing, developing and maintaining the user experience for our critical internal tools and applications. You'll work closely with UX designers and backend engineers to bring innovative and impactful solutions to life, ensuring a seamless and delightful experience for our users. If you're a creative and driven individual with a strong understanding of front-end technologies and a passion for user-centered design, or a problem solver with strong full stack backend development and integration skills we encourage you to apply

Position Responsibilities:

• Design, implement, test and launch new features for both internal and external facing applications.

• Adopt Scrum / Agile methodologies in the development and maintenance of the applications

• Scale the platform/application as the needs grow without compromising on the SLOs and SLAs.

• Ensure technical documentation is in sync with the current platform/application implementation.

• Constantly improve the application architecture and resiliency.

• Respond to user/production bugs, troubleshoot and fix bugs to ensure a high degree of end-user satisfaction.

• Implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines to automate the deployment process, ensuring rapid and reliable releases

Minimum Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.

• 4 to 6 years of experience building web applications based on at least one of these technologies: Object-Oriented Programming language such as JAVA and Python

• 5 years of experience in front-end web development programming in Javascript, HTML5, CSS3 or TypeScript.

• 5 years of experience with Databases (SQL or NoSQL) and tuning queries for performance.

• Minimum 4 years of experience designing, implementing and releasing full feature-sets from ideation to landing.

• Minimum 4 years of experience troubleshooting production issues.  

• Minimum 4 years of experience profiling applications for performance bottlenecks.

• Minimum 2 with Cloud Computing platforms such as GCP, Azure, AWS

• Component plus Hands-On experience with integration using REST API and SOAP API

• Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code following industry best practices and standards. Conduct code reviews and maintain coding guidelines.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Strong experience in Regex, database concepts.

• Experience with backend development languages such as Node JS

• Experience with Cloud Computing platforms such as GCP, Azure, AWS

• Experience in Middleware development/design (remote procedure call based, publish subscribe based, etc…)

• Excellent verbal and written communication
