Job Summary:
We are looking for a dynamic and results-driven Sales Manager with a strong background in selling engineering services and solutions to the automotive industry. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of automotive technologies and a proven track record of managing complex sales cycles, building strategic client relationships, and driving revenue growth.
Key Responsibilities:
- Identify, develop, and convert new business opportunities within the automotive sector.
- Drive revenue growth by creating and executing strategic sales plans across territories and product portfolios.
- Act as a trusted advisor to clients, providing insights on Tata Elxsis offerings, industry trends, and best practices.
- Develop and present large-scale business solutions that deliver long-term value to customers.
- Engage with senior executives and decision-makers to build and maintain strategic relationships.
- Deliver compelling presentations to executive-level stakeholders, articulating vision and value propositions.
- Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction and loyalty through consistent engagement and service excellence.
- Manage client expectations effectively while aligning with internal delivery and business goals.
- Lead proposal development, including strategy, win themes, and pricing to secure business deals.
Leadership & Strategy:
- Contribute to the development of go-to-market strategies for automotive services.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including delivery, marketing, and product to align sales efforts with business objectives.
- Provide market intelligence and feedback to influence product development and service innovation.
- Mentor junior sales team members and contribute to a high-performance sales culture.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Mandatory: BE/BTech in Computer Science, IT, Electrical, Electronics, Mechanical, or Automotive Engineering.
- Preferred: MBA in Sales, Marketing, or Business Management.
- Minimum 8 years of experience in B2B sales within the automotive industry.
- Strong understanding of automotive engineering services and technology trends.
- Proficiency in CRM tools such as Salesforce or equivalent.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
Preferred Attributes:
- Deep domain knowledge of automotive buying/selling patterns and competitive landscape.
Proven experience in selling services across:
Autonomous Driving (AD) / Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS)
- Infotainment & Cluster
- Body & Chassis
- Connected Technologies
Telematics
Strong network of customer relationships at mid to executive levels.
- Experience in closing medium to large multi-year integrated deals.
- Ability to manage end-to-end sales cycles independently.
