Role Overview

We're looking for a Product Manager to lead the development and expansion of our core payment gateway platform. In this high-ownership role, you will define product strategy, drive execution, and launch features that directly impact merchants, partners, and the broader payments ecosystem.

You'll have the opportunity to shape the roadmap of a fast-growing fintech startup and influence the future of digital payments.

Key Responsibilities

  • Own the end-to-end product lifecycle — from ideation and requirements to launch and ongoing optimization
  • Partner with engineering, design, and business teams to deliver scalable, secure, and user-friendly payment products
  • Gather, analyze, and prioritize product requirements using stakeholder input, market trends, and customer insights
  • Work with compliance, operations, and support teams to ensure smooth deployments and adherence to regulatory and security standards
  • Define and monitor KPIs, evaluate product performance, and identify opportunities for improvement
  • Drive the product roadmap with a focus on usability, scalability, and monetization
  • Translate complex payment workflows into simple, intuitive product experiences

Requirements

  • 4 plus years of experience in Product Management, ideally in fintech, payments, or B2B SaaS
  • Strong understanding of payment flows such as UPI, cards, netbanking, and wallets, including APIs and transaction systems
  • Hands-on experience working in agile development environments using tools like JIRA, Confluence, or similar
  • Excellent problem-solving, prioritization, and communication skills.
  • Data-driven mindset with experience using analytics platforms (Mixpanel, GA, Looker, or similar)
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Business, Engineering, or related field (MBA is a plus)

Nice to Have:

  • Prior experience working in a fintech startup or payment gateway company
  • Familiarity with compliance requirements like PCI DSS, KYC, etc.
  • Exposure to merchant onboarding, settlements, or reconciliation workflows
