Inviting applications for the role of Sr. Principal Consultant -SAP Functional Architect _ FI

We are seeking a highly experienced Senior SAP Techno-Functional Architect – FI to lead the design, development, and implementation of SAP Financial Accounting (FI) solutions across enterprise environments. The ideal candidate will possess a rare combination of deep functional knowledge in SAP FI (including General Ledger, Accounts Payable/Receivable, Asset Accounting, etc.) along with strong technical proficiency in ABAP, enhancements, and integrations.
This role will be instrumental in defining the FI architecture for SAP ECC and S/4HANA systems, leading finance-related transformation initiatives, and collaborating with key stakeholders across finance, controlling, audit, compliance, and IT.
Responsibilities
S4 Hana certification mandatory. 
Functional Responsibilities:

•    Lead the architecture and delivery of SAP FI solutions across GL, AP, AR, Asset Accounting (AA), Bank Accounting, and Taxation.

•    Define global financial processes and ensure proper configuration and mapping in SAP.

•    Oversee month-end, quarter-end, and year-end financial closing processes.

•    Design and implement automated journal entries, intercompany postings, and payment processes.

•    Ensure compliance with IFRS, GAAP, and local tax regulations.
Technical Responsibilities:

•    Translate business requirements into robust functional and technical specifications.

•    Lead and support custom development (RICEFW) related to financial processes.

•    Debug and optimize ABAP programs related to finance (e.g., custom reports, validations, BAPIs, enhancements).

•    Integrate SAP FI with third-party applications, banking interfaces, and middleware platforms (e.g., PI/PO, CPI).

•    Guide the design of workflows, controls, and authorization checks for financial approvals.
S/4HANA Transformation & Modernization:

•    Lead the transition of financial processes from ECC to SAP S/4HANA, including:
o    Universal Journal (ACDOCA) design and data migration
o    Use of Fiori apps for finance
o    Central Finance or Multi-ERP finance architecture (if applicable)

•    Leverage new capabilities such as Real-Time Accounting, Predictive Accounting, and Embedded Analytics.
Cross-Functional Integration:

•    Collaborate with teams in SAP CO, MM, SD, HR, and other business areas to ensure seamless financial integration.

•    Drive compliance and integration with GRC, audit, and SOX controls.

•    Expertise with deep functional and technical knowledge in SAP FI

•    Hands-on configuration and process expertise in:
o    General Ledger (GL)
o    Accounts Payable (AP)
o    Accounts Receivable (AR)
o    Asset Accounting (AA)
o    Bank Communication & Reconciliation
o    Tax Calculation (e.g., Vertex, SAP Localization)

•    Strong experience in ABAP debugging, enhancements, BADIs, and BAPIs

•    Experience in at least 3 full-cycle implementations, including one on S/4HANA

•    Deep understanding of Universal Journal, Ledger Concepts, and New Asset Accounting

•    Solid grasp of data migration techniques for finance (e.g., LSMW, BODS, Migration Cockpit)

Minimum Qualifications

•    Graduation\: B.Tech/B.E, MBA/MCA

Preferred Qualifications

•    The candidate must be a self-starter, capable of multitasking and efficiently manage their time in a multifaceted environment with demanding deadlines while requiring minimal levels of supervision.

•    Additionally, the candidate must possess excellent writing, speaking, analytical, project management, organizational, teamwork, and customer service skills that will assist them in identifying solutions to sophisticated security problems

•    Ability to deliver high quality and reliable software by collaborating with team. Outstanding analytical skills, ability to apply expertise to drive sophisticated, technical and highly commercial solutions. Possess good verbal and written communication skills.

•    SAP Certification in S/4HANA Finance or FI Module

•    Experience with SAP Fiori Finance apps

•    Exposure to Central Finance (cFin) implementations

•    Familiarity with SAP GRC, FSCM, or Treasury modules

•    Experience working in multi-country rollouts, localization, and global tax compliance
