Preferred Skills & Experience:
• 35 years of experience in a SOC or cybersecurity monitoring role.
• Familiarity with SIEM/SOAR platforms, especially Cortex XSIAM.
• Understanding of network protocols, endpoint security, and common attack vectors.
• Experience with EDR tools, firewalls, and threat intelligence platforms.
• Basic knowledge of incident response lifecycle and cyber kill chain.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and documentation abilities.
Preferred Qualifications:
• Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or related field.
• Certifications (any of the following are a plus):
o Palo Alto Networks Certified XSIAM Analyst
o CompTIA Security+
o CEH (Certified Ethical Hacker)
o Microsoft SC-200 (Security Operations Analyst)
• Completion of Cortex XSIAM training or hands-on lab experience.
