Overview The Senior Certification Engineer for Infotainment & Instrument Cluster Systems plays a pivotal role in ensuring that automotive infotainment and instrument cluster systems comply with regulatory standards and customer requirements. Key Responsibilities
  • Lead certification activities for infotainment and instrument cluster systems.

  • Analyze test results and provide detailed reports on system performance.

  • Provide guidance and training to junior engineers on certification processes.
  • Engage in root cause analysis for any certification failures.

  • Ensure all testing equipment and environments are properly calibrated and maintained.
  • Manage project timelines and deliverables related to certification efforts.
  • Assist in the development of risk assessment protocols.
  • Participate in design reviews to provide certification insights and feedback.
Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related field.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in automotive certification engineering.
  • Strong knowledge of infotainment systems and instrument cluster technologies.
  • Experience with certification standards such as ISO 26262, DO-178C, or similar.
  • Proficient in the use of testing tools and methodologies.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Familiarity with regulatory compliance requirements for automotive systems.
  • Experience in project management tools and techniques.
  • Strong analytical and critical thinking abilities.
  • Proficient in technical documentation and reporting.
  • Certified Functional Safety Engineer (CFSE) is a plus.
  • Knowledge of system integration methodologies.
  • Willingness to travel for certification-related activities, as required.
