Position Overview

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented
DevOps Engineer
 with
1–2 years of hands-on experience
 in cloud infrastructure, automation, and CI/CD practices. The ideal candidate will support our engineering teams in building scalable, reliable, and secure environments, while also contributing to automation initiatives that reduce manual efforts.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in
    building, deploying, and managing CI/CD pipelines
     using Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or AWS CodePipeline.
  • Work with
    Docker
     to containerize applications and manage deployments.
  • Support
    Kubernetes/EKS clusters
     including writing YAML manifests and monitoring deployments.
  • Collaborate with development teams to
    automate infrastructure provisioning
     using Terraform or Ansible.
  • Monitor system health and performance using tools like
    Prometheus and Grafana
    .
  • Manage
    AWS cloud resources
     (EC2, S3, IAM, VPC, RDS, Lambda, CloudWatch, SNS) to ensure high availability and cost optimization.
  • Participate in
    release management
    , version control (Git), and troubleshooting deployment issues.
  • Maintain security best practices, including secret management via AWS Secrets Manager or equivalent.

Required Skills

  • 1–2 years of experience
     as a DevOps Engineer or in a related IT/Cloud Engineering role.
  • Hands-on experience with
    AWS Cloud services
    .
  • Strong understanding of
    CI/CD concepts
     and tools such as Jenkins, GitHub, or AWS CodeBuild/CodeDeploy.
  • Practical knowledge of
    Docker
     and basic exposure to
    Kubernetes
    .
  • Familiarity with
    Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC)
     tools like Terraform or Ansible.
  • Basic knowledge of
    scripting
     (Shell/Python).
  • Understanding of
    monitoring and logging
     frameworks (Grafana, Prometheus).
  • Knowledge of
    Git-based workflows
     (branching, merging).

Good to Have

  • Exposure to
    Maven builds, YAML manifests, and ETL processes
    .
  • Experience with
    cost optimization strategies on AWS
    .
  • Understanding of
    database management
     (MySQL, RDS).
  • Knowledge of
    networking fundamentals
     (VPC, IAM, security groups).
