Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage daily operations in the Grinding and CNC Machining departments.
  • Plan, allocate, and manage manpower to achieve production schedules and targets efficiently.
  • Set and program CNC machines (such as VMC/CNC Gear Grinding, Turning, and Shaving machines).
  • Ensure optimal machine utilization, quality output, and minimal downtime.
  • Supervise and train operators, setters, and programmers to maintain consistent performance.
  • Monitor process parameters to ensure adherence to IATF/ISO standards and quality requirements.
  • Coordinate with Quality, Maintenance, and Planning departments to maintain smooth production flow.
  • Review and analyze production data, OEE, and rejection reports for continuous improvement.
  • Drive Kaizen, 5S, and Lean Manufacturing initiatives within the department.
  • Ensure compliance with ISO 9001:2015 and IATF 16949:2016 documentation and production practices.
  • Prepare and maintain records for audits and internal reviews.

Candidate Requirements:

  • Diploma / B.E / B.Tech in Mechanical or Production Engineering.
  • Minimum 8 years of experience in automobile or precision component manufacturing, with at least 3 years in a supervisory or managerial role.
  • Hands-on experience in CNC programming (Fanuc / Siemens / Mazatrol / Burri (B and R) controls) and Gear Grinding operations.
  • In-depth knowledge of ISO/IATF 16949 standards and shop floor documentation.
  • Proven ability to handle manpower, manage multiple machines, and meet production targets.
  • Strong leadership, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
  • Knowledge of SPC, MSA, PFMEA, and Control Plans preferred.
