SAP ABAP Ricefw Consultant

Role & responsibilities

• Design, develop, and implement RICEFW components in SAP ABAP based on business and functional requirements.
• Work with SAP functional consultants to understand the requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
• Develop custom reports using ABAP ALV, Classical, Interactive reporting techniques.
• Create and maintain interfaces using BAPIs, RFCs, IDocs, and Web Services.
• Perform data conversions using LSMW, BDC (Batch Data Communication), or custom programs.
• Develop and enhance SmartForms, SAPScripts, and Adobe Forms.
• Implement user exits, BAdIs, enhancements (implicit and explicit), and custom workflows as required.
• Conduct unit testing, support system integration testing (SIT), and user acceptance testing (UAT).
• Troubleshoot and resolve ABAP code issues and performance tuning.
• Document technical specifications and maintain system documentation.
• Collaborate with offshore/onshore teams in a global delivery model.

Preferred candidate profile

• Exposure to SAP S/4HANA environment.
• Familiarity with Fiori/UI5 and OData services.
• Basic knowledge of SAP Workflow development and enhancements.
• Agile/Scrum project experience.
