Objectives The Mortgage InvestorReporting Analyst plays an important role in the organization by performing severalactivities related to the Loan Servicing functions. The role is primarilyresponsible, under general supervision, for performing several reporting relatedtasks in support of the department, such as, remittance reporting, balancing,preparing reports, maintaining accurate records, identifying paymentdiscrepancies, providing analysis, etc. The MortgageInvestor Reporting Analyst is responsible for the accurate and timely reportingand remittance of mortgage payments to the investors in their assignedportfolio. They are required to review remittance reports, ensure the data isaccurate, and adjust where necessary. The movement of funds internally is ofvital importance to ensure that bank accounts have the required funds and readyto be wired or drafted. Analyzes remittancereports/data tape and adjusts the data and report format based on industryguidelines and investor requirements and prepares the corresponding wire. Reviewsand reconciles various custodial bank accounts to ensure outstanding items arecleared. Analyzes accounting issues that occur due to system errors andsuggests corrections to Strategy to prevent future occurrences.The associate is expected to process items accuratelyand optimally in accordance with laid down procedures and maintain requisitestandards of quality and productivity.  He/she will report to the Team Leader, who will be the first point ofcontact for any issues, questions, or concerns. RequirementsQualification: Ø  Graduatein any discipline.Ø  4+ yearof Experience in Investor Reporting/InvestorAccounting Key Result Areas (KRAs) Leadership: Ø  The SME is responsible for maintainingconstant process knowledge in the team. Ø  Responsiblefor maintaining and documenting all updates received from the business area.Ø  Will bea part of clients calls as required and will be responsible to update the teamsalongside the Supervisors.Ø  Responsiblefor cascading / providing training on new updates to all team members.Ø  Responsiblefor conducting the knowledge check.Ø  Responsiblefor suggesting and driving process improvements.Ø  Shouldhave multi -tasking skills as a Trainer / QC / Processor and will conductrefresher trainings / handle Quality sessions on a need basis.Ø  Monitorand coach under -performers to improve their quality and efficiency.Ø  To be apart of the regular production and produce agreed numbers.Ø  Address and ensure resolution on all processrelated queries of the team members. US Mortgage –Investor Reporting Experience ·       Knowledge of Actual/Actual, Schedule/Actual,Schedule/Schedule, Supplemental reporting, and remittance validation of Privateand GSE Investors.·       Strong knowledge and proficiency withinvestor reporting principles and concepts, including debits and credits, cashflow requirements, bank reconciliations, etc.·       working on investor relations activities,including reviewing financial statements, preparing analysis reports, compilinginformation on loan payments, research, reporting and related responsibilities.·       Competent in processing mortgage fundingtransactions and payments, completing wire transfers and ACH transfers.·       Ensuredata accuracy between remittance reporting and servicing records.·       Responsible for performing reconciliationsand analysis for the Investor Reporting Group·       The specialist will a) Assist in month endclose activities including booking of journal entries, remitting investorfunds, and compiling investor monthly servicing reports b) Assist in audits andother ad hoc requests.·       Validationof classification of transaction as remittances, wires, advances pertransaction description and verify backup in servicing system.·       Verifyall bank activity with servicing records and mapping of all collections with remittancesmade to the Investor.·       Verifythe bank activity with the servicing system at loan level and any discrepanciesin the transactions are validated with backup in servicing system·       Verify funds owed and available for investorprincipal and interest remittances, and advance funds when necessary.·       Respond to routine investor inquiries andaudits, escalating if necessary.  For Team Lead - On - paper experience min 2 yrs
