Job Profile: Accountant
JOB DESCRIPTION
Key Responsibilities:
Maintain and manage financial records.
Prepare financial statements and reports.
Handle accounts payable and receivable.
Reconcile bank statements.
Manage invoices and bills.
Ensure compliance with financial regulations and standards.
Assist with budgeting and forecasting.
Conduct financial analysis and reporting.
Required Skills and Knowledge:
- Tally:
o Proficient in using Tally ERP for managing financial transactions.
o Ability to generate financial reports using Tally.
- Ms-Excel/MS-Word:
o Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
o Ability to create and manage complex spreadsheets, mail merge.
o Skills in data analysis, pivot tables, and VLOOKUP.
- TDS (Tax Deducted at Source):
o Knowledge of TDS provisions and regulations.
o Experience in calculating and deducting TDS accurately.
o Ability to file TDS returns and generate TDS certificates.
- GST (Goods and Services Tax):
o Understanding of GST laws and regulations.
o Experience in GST registration and filing GST returns.
o Ability to manage GST compliance and audits.
- Good Communication Skills:
o Strong verbal and written communication skills.
o Ability to explain financial information clearly and effectively.
o Experience in coordinating with various departments and stakeholders.
o Good interpersonal skills to work effectively in a team.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
