We are looking for an experienced Mainframe Developer with strong hands-on expertise in core mainframe technologies. The ideal candidate should have solid experience in COBOL, JCL, DB2, and VSAM, with working knowledge of CICS being an added advantage. You will be responsible for developing, maintaining, and enhancing mainframe applications in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop, maintain, and enhance mainframe applications using COBOL, JCL, DB2, and VSAM.
  • Analyze business requirements and convert them into technical design and code.
  • Perform unit testing, debugging, and optimization of existing programs.
  • Execute batch jobs, troubleshoot job failures, and ensure timely delivery of batch cycles.
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams to support development and production environments.
  • Participate in code reviews and ensure adherence to organizational coding standards.
  • Provide effective support during production incidents and assist in root cause analysis.

Required Skills

  • Strong hands-on experience in:
  • COBOL
  • JCL
  • DB2
  • VSAM
  • Good understanding of mainframe development lifecycle and debugging tools.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

Good-to-Have

  • Working knowledge of CICS for online application support.
  • Experience in Agile or DevOps environment.

Eligibility

  • Candidates available to join immediately or within 15 days will be preferred.
  • Mandatory willingness to work full-time from the office (WFO), 5 days a week.

Pay: ₹1,200, ₹2,800,000.00 per year
