Roles and Responsibilities of a Frontend Designer (HTML + React)

  • Convert UI/UX wireframes, mockups, and design specifications into responsive, high-quality HTML/CSS and React components.
  • Ensure visual consistency, branding accuracy, and pixel-perfect design implementation across all pages.
  • Work closely with UX designers to refine layouts, interaction patterns, and user flows.
  • Implement state management (using Hooks, Context API, Redux etc. if applicable) for dynamic and interactive UI elements.
  • Optimize React rendering performance to achieve fast load times and smooth interactions.
  • Ensure all interfaces are responsive and accessible across desktops, tablets, and mobile devices.
  • Test and debug UI issues across major browsers (Chrome, Firefox, Safari, Edge) and platforms.
  • Collaborate with project managers, QA teams, and stakeholders to deliver high-quality features.
  • Document HTML/CSS/React components and guidelines for future use.
  • Optimize HTML/CSS and React code for load speed, accessibility, and SEO.
  • Stay updated with the latest trends in frontend development, React ecosystem updates, and modern UI design practices.
