About the Role:

We are looking for a detail-oriented and reliable Accountant to join our team and take

charge of our day-to-day financial transactions, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and timely

reporting. The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of accounting principles,

excellent organizational skills, and the ability to work both independently and

collaboratively.

Key Responsibilities:

●Record and process day-to-day financial transactions, including purchases, receipts,

payments, and journal entries.

●Maintain accurate books on accounts payable and receivable.

●Reconcile bank statements and general ledger accounts on a regular basis.

Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and reports.

●Monitor and manage cash flow, budgets, and forecasts.

●Ensure compliance with applicable tax laws, regulations, and filing deadlines (e.g., GST/VAT,

TDS, corporate taxes).

●Assist with preparation for audits by maintaining well-organized records and

documentation.

●Support payroll preparation and ensure accurate employee-related transactions.

●Collaborate with internal teams to provide financial insights that support decision-making.

●Identify opportunities for process improvements in financial operations.

Requirements:

●Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.

●1–5 years of proven experience in accounting or bookkeeping.

●Strong knowledge of accounting standards, tax compliance, and financial regulations.

●Proficiency with accounting software (e.g., Tally, QuickBooks, Zoho Books) and MS Excel.

●Excellent attention to detail and strong analytical skills.

●Good organizational and time-management abilities.

●Effective communication skills, both verbal and written.

●Ability to maintain confidentiality and integrity in handling sensitive financial information.

Preferred:

●Experience working in a fast-paced or startup environment.
