Role Description

The Head of Events / Event Director is responsible for leading the full lifecycle of event planning and execution, ensuring that all corporate, promotional, and brand-related events are delivered with excellence. This role oversees strategic event design, operational coordination, creative development, and stakeholder engagement, ensuring each event aligns with organizational objectives and delivers a high-quality attendee experience. It involves managing multiple projects simultaneously, directing cross-functional teams, and ensuring every event is executed on time, on budget, and to the required standard.

Key responsibilities include developing the overall event strategy, defining event concepts, and shaping themes, formats, and content. The role oversees event logistics, vendor management, budgeting, production planning, and risk assessments. It ensures seamless coordination of all elements, such as venue selection, program scheduling, technical setup, guest management, and on-site operations. The Head of Events works closely with internal teams—including marketing, communications, business development, and leadership—to ensure messaging, branding, and event goals are effectively integrated.

The role also involves evaluating event performance, collecting insights, analyzing attendee feedback, and implementing improvements to enhance future outcomes. A strong focus on innovation, creativity, and operational excellence is required to develop engaging event experiences that meet strategic goals and strengthen organizational presence.

This position plays a key leadership role, guiding the events team, establishing clear workflows, and fostering collaboration across departments and external partners. The Head of Events ensures compliance with internal policies, contractual requirements, and safety standards. They must effectively balance strategic vision with hands-on execution, maintaining a proactive approach to problem-solving, resource management, and stakeholder communication.
