Role and Responsibilities:
We are seeking an experienced Backend Developer with expertise in Node.JS. In this role, you will be responsible for designing and building advanced applications using Node.JS. Your key responsibilities will include:
  • Working on new projects and developing according to functional team requirements
  • Complying with agile-based software development methodology
  • Building web applications with prescribed coding standards and industry best practices
  • Collaborating with front-end developers on the integration of elements
  • Developing high-performance applications by writing testable, reusable, and efficient code
  • Implementing effective security protocols, data protection measures, and storage solutions
  • Running diagnostic tests, repairing defects, and providing technical support
Candidate Qualifications:
The ideal candidate should have the following qualifications:
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in Backend Development
  • Strong proficiency in Node.JS and its core modules
  • Experience with MVC Frameworks like Express.JS
  • Understanding and experience in using data storage technologies such as relational databases (e.g. MySQL, PostgreSQL) and NoSQL databases (e.g. MongoDB, DynamoDB)
  • Working knowledge of GIT version control and repository clients like GitHub, GitLab, Bitbucket
  • Basic experience in AWS serverless architecture
  • Experience in other Backend Technologies like Go and Python is a plus
  • Experience in GraphQL API Implementation is a plus
  • Knowledge of API document tools like Swagger and Postman is a plus
  • Knowledge of Promise Based ORM like Sequelize is a plus
  • Experience in Sail.JS is a plus
