Manager: (IDS) Reservation

About the Role:
We are looking for an experienced and detail-oriented Reservation Manager to lead our reservations department at our hotel in Andheri, Mumbai. The ideal candidate will have strong experience using IDS Next hotel software, excellent customer service skills, and a strategic approach to maximizing room revenue and occupancy.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee all reservation operations, ensuring accuracy and a smooth booking experience
- Manage and respond to guest reservation inquiries via phone, email, OTA, and direct bookings
- Optimize room inventory, manage overbookings, and handle group bookings efficiently
- Monitor and adjust room rates in coordination with revenue and sales teams
- Ensure all reservation entries and guest data are accurately recorded in IDS Next
- Train and supervise reservation staff, ensuring excellent service standards
- Coordinate with front office and housekeeping to align guest arrivals and departures
- Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly reservation reports for management review
- Handle VIP bookings and special guest requests personally
- Track and reduce reservation-related errors or complaints
Requirements:
- Graduate in Hospitality, Tourism, or a related field
- 3–5 years of experience in hotel reservations, with at least 1–2 years in a supervisory or managerial role
- Mandatory experience with IDS Next (FortuneNEXT or similar version)
- Strong understanding of OTA channels, CRS, GDS, and hotel booking platforms
- Excellent communication, coordination, and organizational skills
- Ability to handle pressure during high-demand periods
- Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)
Preferred Skills:
- Experience in a 3-star or 4-star hotel property
- Familiarity with revenue management basics
- Fluency in English, Hindi, and Marathi
- Knowledge of other hotel PMS or channel managers is a plus
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: ₹25, ₹35,000.00 per month
