Description

1. Financial & Strategic Assist the Mines Head in preparation of budgets and regular reports about production levels, costs and other issues Monitor and report progress for mine operations a periodic basis to ensure its in line with the operational plans for the same Oversee mine excavations, and drive Hydrogeological and technical studies on the prospective mine sites Take initiatives to drive growth for DCBL/refractories and ensure sustained growth in line with long-term and short-term objectives of the organization 2. Liaising Engage with local communities to ensure undisrupted land acquisition Ensure minimum emission of hazardous substances and a keep a check on noise decibel level during extraction processes Ensure safety of the mine workforce while they are within the mine or inside the plant premises Manage relation with the trade unions for effective, conflict-free operations in the mine Liaise with Mines Operation Head to collect Day-wise dispatch report from weighbridge, summarize and check the quantity of respective Items and match the billing quantity with the quantity dispatched 3. Operations Monitor the quality of limestone supplied from mines as per the mine planning Institute norms, process adherence in the function Ensure compliance with all statutory requirements like DGMS, IBM, MoEF, PCB for safe mining operations Ensure availability of blasted limestone in the mine faces Facilitate rigorous testing of limestone extracted to ensure that it meets quality standards Ensure optimized utilization and of HEMM and other heavy grade equipment in order to facilitate undisrupted extraction activities at the site Ensure strict compliance with all safety and legal requirements Work closely with the Quality Assurance team to ensure the raw mix quality requirements are as per quality standards Oversee new projects, such as installing new mining equipment or opening a new shaft Monitor pile wise quality data and update the same in stock piles history Maintain the pile wise sieve analysis data for crusher material Oversee activities related to AMSWC such as safety competitions, trade tests, quiz, necessary preparation for Mines Inspection, VTC Inspection, Publicity and Propaganda to secure positions Prepare EIA Reports for the Mines Head for the projects undertaken to ensure compliance with environmental norms Ensure that the Production Planning in SAP-PP is being carried out as per budget and are correlated with other modules Assist in safety observation audit in mine and record the same in safety portal; conduct tool box talk on a weekly basis and prepare safety reports on a monthly basis Keep abreast with amendments in Mining legislations Ensure initiation and sensitization of the employees towards digitization and automation of the processes Focus on utilization of advanced business analytics tools to derive key insights critical for the success of the organization 4. Self/ Team Development Provide safety training and ensure that all safety protocols are in place Review and monitor performance of team members� and provide requisite developmental support/ inputs Recommend training as required for team�s development Develop the team and update their knowledge base to cater the organization need Strategize avenues for enhancing employee satisfaction in the function, resulting in high engagement levels of employees
