Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role for a Biomedical Technician at AstenOrtho in Kozhikode. The Biomedical Technician will be responsible for the maintenance, repair, and calibration of medical and lab equipment. Day-to-day responsibilities include troubleshooting and resolving technical issues, ensuring compliance with electrical safety protocols, and collaborating with medical staff to ensure the safe and efficient operation of all biomedical equipment. The role also involves conducting routine checks and maintaining accurate documentation related to the equipment.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in Equipment Maintenance and Maintenance & Repair
• Experience with Medical Equipment and Biomedical Engineering practices
• Knowledge of Electrical Safety standards and procedures
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Bachelor's degree or diploma in Biomedical Engineering or a related technical field
• Relevant work experience in a hospital or healthcare setting is an advantage
• Ability to work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team
