Job Title: E-Commerce Manager

Reporting to: Chief Commercial Officer
Location: Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC)
Salary: $2000 to $2400 per month (commensurate with experience & skills)
Experience: 10 to 15 years in e-commerce operations or related fields

About the Role:
We are looking for an experienced and dynamic E-Commerce Manager to lead and manage all aspects of our digital retail operations in the Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC). This is a high-impact role requiring strong leadership, operational excellence, and a deep understanding of the online retail ecosystem.

The ideal candidate will drive performance across digital channels, manage cross-functional collaboration, and ensure a world-class online shopping experience for our customers. Candidates with strong experience in logistics, customer experience, analytics, and e-commerce marketing will be preferred.

Key Responsibilities:
Oversee and optimize e-commerce platforms to ensure a seamless, fast, and efficient user experience.

Lead day-to-day digital commerce operations including product listings, promotions, stock levels, and order fulfillment.

Coordinate with inventory, logistics, IT, and customer support teams to streamline backend processes.

Monitor sales performance, conversion rates, and digital KPIs to identify improvement areas and growth strategies.

Conduct market research to align products with local demand and buyer behavior.

Mentor and manage the e-commerce team to achieve departmental and business goals.

Collaborate with the marketing team to launch performance-driven digital campaigns.

Ensure all e-commerce activities comply with local and international laws and regulations.

Qualifications & Skills:
Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Business Administration, E-Commerce, Marketing, or a related field

10–15 years of relevant experience, preferably in retail or consumer goods

Proven expertise in managing e-commerce platforms and digital performance tools

Strong understanding of logistics, inventory, customer engagement, and online payment systems

Excellent analytical, leadership, and communication skills

Experience with international or cross-border e-commerce is a plus
