Experience : 4 Years, Location : Pan India, Mode : Remote / Hybrid

Shift : 12 : 00 PM 9 : 00 PM IST,

Type : Contractual (6 Months Extendable)

About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled AWS Engineer with hands-on experience in Python development and Chaos Engineering to design, build, and validate resilient, scalable, and automated cloud-native systems. The role blends Cloud Engineering, DevOps, and resilience testing to ensure fault-tolerant and reliable infrastructure on AWS.

Key Responsibilities

Cloud Engineering (AWS) :

- Architect, implement, and manage secure and scalable AWS infrastructure (EC2, Lambda, EKS, S3, RDS, IAM, CloudFront, etc.).

- Automate infrastructure provisioning and management using Terraform / CloudFormation and AWS SDKs.

- Manage containerized workloads (Docker, Kubernetes, EKS).

Python Development & Automation :

- Develop automation scripts, deployment tools, and infrastructure utilities using Python (Boto3, Flask, FastAPI, etc.).

- Create self-healing scripts and automation for system resilience.

- Integrate custom monitoring/alerting tools with APIs and SDKs.

Chaos Engineering & Resilience Testing :

- Design and execute chaos experiments (fault injection, latency, resource failure tests).

- Use tools like Gremlin, AWS FIS, Litmus, Chaos Mesh, or custom Python scripts.

- Collaborate with SRE & DevOps teams to define SLIs, SLOs, and error budgets.

- Analyze chaos test results and enhance incident response and recovery playbooks.

DevOps & Observability :

- Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, AWS CodePipeline).

- Implement observability tools (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK/EFK, CloudWatch, Datadog).

- Ensure real-time system visibility and proactive alerting.

- Apply DevOps best practices for continuous delivery and reliability.

Security & Compliance :

- Enforce AWS security best practices (IAM, networking, encryption).

- Ensure compliance with frameworks like SOC2, ISO, GDPR, etc.

Required Skills & Qualifications :

- Strong hands-on experience in AWS Cloud (certifications preferred).

- Advanced Python development (Boto3 mandatory).

- Proven experience in Chaos Engineering tools and methodologies.

- Proficiency in IaC (Terraform / CloudFormation).

- Strong grasp of containers & orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes, EKS).

- Expertise in monitoring, observability, and incident management.

- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps toolchains.

- Understanding of resilient architecture and disaster recovery principles.

Preferred Skills :

- Knowledge of Go or Shell scripting.

- Experience running chaos tests in production-like environments.

- Exposure to multi-cloud or hybrid cloud setups.

- Excellent problem-solving and debugging skills.
