Job Title: Document Controller

Location: Dubai

Salary: AED/Month + Benefits

Notice Period: Immediate

Job Summary:

 Company is seeking a meticulous and organized Document Controller to join our Engineering Department in Dubai. The ideal candidate will manage and control all engineering documents, ensuring accuracy, currency, and accessibility. This role is critical to maintaining the integrity and confidentiality of our documentation processes and supporting the engineering team in their daily operations.

Key Responsibilities:

Document Management:

Receive, log, track, and distribute engineering documents, drawings, and specifications.Ensure correct indexing and storage of all documents.

Quality Control:

Review and verify document accuracy, ensuring compliance with company and industry standards.

Revision Control:

Maintain document control registers.Ensure proper documentation and authorization of all revisions.

Database Management:

Maintain electronic and hard copy filing systems for easy retrieval and reference.

Coordination:

Work closely with engineers, project managers, and other stakeholders to ensure timely and efficient document management.

Auditing:

Conduct regular audits to ensure documentation is complete, up-to-date, and compliant with regulations and company policies.

Training:

Train staff on document control procedures and systems as needed.

Reporting:

Generate reports on document status.Ensure all documentation is in compliance with project requirements.

Support:

Provide administrative support to the engineering team, including scheduling meetings and coordinating with other departments.

Qualifications:

Education:

A diploma or degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.

Experience:

Minimum of 3 years of experience in document control within an engineering environment, preferably in the oil and gas industry.

Skills:

Proficiency in document management.Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.Knowledge of industry standards and regulations related to document control.Familiarity with engineering terminology and processes.Proficiency in MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).

Additional Requirements:

Languages:

Proficiency in English; additional language skills are a plus.

Availability:

Ability to work flexible hours if required to meet project deadlines.
