Role & responsibilities

Perform chemical testing of raw materials, semi-finished and finished products in accordance with IS: 4032 by wet chemistry.

Conduct analysis for parameters such as LOI, IR, SiO, AlO, FeO, CaO, MgO, SO, NaO, KO, and Chloride.

Prepare and standardize lab solutions for accurate analysis.

Calibrate and maintain chemical section equipment to ensure reliable results.

Carry out calibration and operation of XRF, XRD, and Bomb Calorimeter.

Determine Gross Calorific Value (GCV) with precision.

Ensure compliance with standard laboratory practices and maintain proper documentation.

Prepare and manage reports, MIS, and other technical documentation.

Requirements:

Strong knowledge in wet chemistry and chemical testing methods.

Hands-on experience with calibration and handling of XRF/XRD/Bomb Calorimeter.

Good analytical, documentation, and reporting skills.

Ability to maintain accuracy, precision, and quality in testing and reporting.
