SAP PI/PO Consultant

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Act as the technical expert, ensuring quick turnaround in identifying application issues and providing timely solutions to meet all SLA's and KPI's.
  • Manage operational support, performing work during change windows as well as providing on call support as required by the team (Weekends included)
  • Engage other technical and functional team members in the design, delivery, and deployment of solutions.
  • Mentor and coach junior functional resources.
  • Ability to multitask and manage multiple deliverables and projects at the same time.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and work on multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Willing to work in onsite/offshore delivery model.

Desired Skills & Experience

  • Minimum of 3 to 5 years of XI/PI/PO experience.
  • Strong communication skills.
  • Experience in XI/PI/PO integration, monitoring, implementation and support
  • Experience with PI components including SLD, ESR, ID and Runtime workbench
  • Experience with dual stack as well as single stack and hands on upgrade experience in migrating from dual to single
  • Knowledge in version migration, OS change, SP Upgrades, DP upgrades
  • Expertise in configuring adapters including IDOC, JDBC, SOAP, HTTP, JMS, File/FTP, REST.
  • Java programming like java mapping and adapter module development and XSLT mappings
  • Process Orchestration, BPM and BRM experience a plus
  • Experience in Alert Configuration, Transportation techniques File/CTS+
  • Knowledge of ALE governance that includes but not limited to configuring Partner profiles, ports, distribution model and message types
  • Knowledge of ABAP programming is a plus.
