 2. Position Requirements

Education

  • Graduate/Postgraduate in Political Science, Law, Public Policy, Communications, or a related discipline.

  • Additional certification or training in government relations / policy interface (preferred).

Experience

  • 3–6 years of relevant experience in executive coordination, public affairs operations, or government liaison support.

  • Experience in interacting with government departments, scheduling official meetings, and preparing briefing documents is desirable.

Key ResponsibilitiesA. Meeting Management & Coordination
  • Schedule and coordinate official meetings with ministries, regulators, and industry bodies on behalf of CRG leadership.

  • Prepare and maintain calendars, availability maps, and movement schedules for MD – Corporate Affairs.

  • Liaise with internal functions and secretarial teams to prepare briefs and logistical arrangements for high-level meetings.

B. Stakeholder Liaison & External Interface
  • Assist in tracking outreach with government offices, chambers, and event organizers.

  • Follow up on meeting outcomes, update contact repositories, and maintain communication logs.

  • Support planning and logistics for participation in forums, conferences, and external events.

C. Documentation & Reporting
  • Draft and organize materials such as invitation letters, official communications, meeting notes, and talking points.

  • Collate reports, presentations, and compliance documents for circulation to internal and external stakeholders.

  • Maintain structured archival records for all correspondence and submissions made through CRG.

D. Internal Coordination
  • Serve as a link between CRG and Essar's business verticals (energy, infra, capital, etc.) for data collation or follow-ups.

  • Track task lists, actionables, and timelines as instructed by MD – Corporate Affairs and ensure closure of open items.
